MidwestScrapbook.com was created in October of 2007 by husband and wife team Mike and Rebecca as a seller of scrapbooking supplies using an online auction site. The original motivation was to give Rebecca, a new stay-at-home mom, a business outlet while still using her love of scrapbooking and paper crafting. Within a few years the desire to expand product offerings while still providing the best prices on the internet lead to the creation of MidwestScrapbook.com. While we still maintain a presence on the online auction sites, our main focus is bringing the newest and most innovative scrapbooking, paper crafting, fine art, sewing, quilting, knitting and general crafting products to the online community while maintaining the lowest possible prices. Thanks so much for visiting us and happy crafting!

Technology allows smaller businesses like MidwestScrapbook.com to reach customers across the nation and the globe and expand their business. Online trading can be a game-changer for their long-term success and sustainability.  That’s why we’ll be traveling to Washington D.C. on April 22 and 23, 2015 for eBay Inc.’s 10th annual U.S. of eBay Advocacy Day on behalf of MidwestScrapbook.com to encourage lawmakers to support policies that promote small business growth and success. During my time in Washington we will share with lawmakers the need for Congressional action that modernizes the U.S. trade agenda so that small businesses like ours can reach their full export potential. We will also discuss the way proposed Internet sales tax legislation would create a huge tax burden for small business owners selling their products online.
